5 Highlights from this Week's FOC
WHAT SHOULDN'T YOU MISS THIS WEEK?
It’s one of those Saturday mornings when I have a million things to do, but all I want is to play Hollow Knight.
It would be easy to pick three titles and call it a day.
But looking at this week’s FOC list, my brain simply can’t choose.
So, sorry, Steam Deck. We’ll meet later.
There’s work to do.

🕹️ Operation Nostalgia : Mode ON
Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Omnibus: If you watched the TV series back in 2013, this is your time machine. This Omnibus brings into comics several characters who were born on screen - a rare reverse adaptation. It’s also a great entry point for anyone new to the team.
Not the most hyped Marvel Omnibus, but one you definitely won’t regret adding to your shelf.
When I first started reading manga, Parasyte was the one that pulled me beyond the battle shonen zone. Sure, there’s plenty of action - but it’s also a dark sci-fi body horror masterpiece by Hitoshi Iwaaki.
Even fifteen years later, I still clearly remember the two main characters.
Think Devilman: a deep dive into humanity and its monsters. I loved every page.
And this new edition it’s finally in black and white, true to the original.
🇮🇹 Some Italian Talents at Image
Mirka Andolfo needs no introduction. If you’re a fan, you probably already have Under York TP in your cart.
If not, it’s in FOC this week, and it deserves your attention.
Dark magic and New York City? Sold. (Yes, I’m biased. She’s from my hometown.)
I recently discovered Formisano, whose Nights TP Vol. 03 is now up for pre-order. I love his bold, pop style, and I can’t wait to meet him at Thought Bubble Festival.
Give him a chance!
💡 In Need of a Creative Boost?
Lately, I’m obsessed with artbooks.
Flip through them with the right playlist, and boom—instant inspiration.
Writers, artists, or dreamers: trust me, it works.
Kusamori Shuichi Animation Artworks gathers nearly forty years of the artist’s career, including Ghost in the Shell and Metropolis movies. A master of landscapes, Kusamori builds worlds you’ll want to get lost in.
Osaka Genso Art Works Vol. 3 reimagines the city’s landmarks in a future reclaimed by nature, haunting, lush, and beautiful.
Both artbooks are must-haves if you’re craving new worlds to explore.
