B2G1 Compact Comics Sale Is Live!!! + Some New Graphic Novels :P
TABLE OF CONTENTS

Hey there, how is Manga Crossover March going for you?

If you’re usually more on the comics and graphic novels side of things and tried a manga for the first time last week, I hope it’s going great!

Now, if you’re more on the manga side, this week it’s your turn to cross the bridge. Or, if you have a friend who only reads manga, listen up, because this week we have a:

A B2G1 Compact Comics Sale!!!

If you’ve been thinking about giving comics a try, this is a pretty good way to get a few in a reader-friendly format and save a few bucks. And if you want to get someone else into comics, this might be the perfect opportunity too.

You can add three books and only pay for two. Or six books and only pay for four. And so on.

And just like with manga, it’s more about finding out which stories, characters, writers, and artists you like, and less about the publisher.

In this collection you'll find books from DC, Marvel, Vault, Image and Oni Press. So with this in mind, go check out the whole collection:

B2G1 Compact Comics Sale

The discount will automatically be applied in your cart.

Are we taking the theme of our fanzine too seriously? Definitely. Is it worth it? 100%.

Because once upon a time, I had a colleague named Annika who only read, breathed, ate, and drank manga. No matter what you did or what you talked to her about, the result was always manga.

“Why don’t you try comics?” I asked.
“I don’t even know where to start. I’d need recommendations.”

So I did my usual move, stole a copy of Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow DC Compact Edition, and gave it to her. I said, “Try this.”

Next thing I know, I get this message:

Translation: Supergirl 🔥 was such a good rec, I almost missed my stop because I was so into the story 😂

The result? Sometimes a little push in the form of a freebie can unlock a whole new world for someone. A bridge was built.

This sale was the next logical step for Manga Crossover Month.

New-In and new Preos

If you’re still with me, I’ll keep it short: the highlight from this week’s new-in graphic novels is definitely Animan by Anouk.

Product Embed | Animan by Anouk Ricard GN HC

It’s about a guy who can turn into any animal, and it ends up being funny, strange, warm, and more emotional than you might expect.

It has something quietly wholesome about it. It's a little bit like Bob’s Burgers in its softer moments, also completely absurd, but with enough seriousness inside the absurdism. Def. a gem.

A man using his superpowers to help animals?! 🥵 I would marry him on the spot! But he's in a relationship with… well it's along story…

All New InWe also have the new March pre-orders up now, in case you haven’t checked them out yet:

New Preos

I really hope you’re trying something new this March and maybe even discovering something nice and surprising yourself in the process. And if you haven’t checked out our fanzine yet, I hope you do.

All the best,
Gloriana
