Et quand tout finit par exploser et que Krypton commence à brûler, Kara et son cousin nourrisson se retrouvent piégés ensemble dans une fusée prototype, luttant pour survivre dans un univers hostile qui se moque bien de savoir s'ils vivent ou meurent... et qui préférerait peut-être même la seconde option ! Les scénaristes révélations Ethan Parker et Griffin Sheridan (Kill Your Darlings, nommé aux Eisner Awards) s'associent à l'artiste visionnaire Rod Reis (New Mutants) pour raconter l'histoire de l'adolescente Kara et du bébé Kal, envoyés ensemble, et non séparément, dans leur voyage à travers les étoiles... enfin, à condition que Kara réussisse à le garder en vie !
