L’Invocation of Doom a déchaîné une vague d’horreurs indicibles sur la terre, et la première bataille a non seulement brisé les Hawks, mais aussi la main de leur champion, Guts, ainsi que l’esprit de leur capitaine et amante de Guts, Casca. Et si le temps pourra peut-être guérir certaines blessures de Guts, il n’apaisera pas son désir de vengeance. Et la découverte d’une gigantesque épée tueuse de dragons pourrait bien être exactement ce qu’il lui faut pour infliger une revanche monumentale !
Sont aussi inclus dans ce volume : "Berserk Prototype", la toute première histoire de Berserk, créée à l’époque où Kentaro Miura était à l’université, et qui a servi d’audition pour vendre la série !
