Une histoire simple et touchante sur deux hommes qui trouvent un terrain d’entente malgré leurs différences évidentes, et sur la façon dont l’amour peut te surprendre quand tu t’y attends le moins... Dans une petite ville rurale où il ne se passe jamais rien d’excitant, un nouveau visage apparaît soudain à la bibliothèque : un ancien citadin qui vient chaque semaine sans jamais manquer un rendez-vous. Au fil de ses visites, le bibliothécaire Hagiwara ne peut s’empêcher de remarquer de petits détails chez ce nouvel habitué, Yabumi : sa ponctualité, son attitude, son étrange façon méthodique de lire tous les livres d’un même auteur... Petit à petit, sans même s’en rendre compte, cette simple observation se transforme en un intérêt plus profond qui attire Hagiwara irrésistiblement, jusqu’à ce qu’il n’y puisse plus rien ! Il veut mieux connaître Yabumi. Mais comment réduire la distance entre eux, quand on n’a pas le droit de parler dans une bibliothèque ?
