Après s’être lié d’amitié avec les Slimes, Yuji parvient vite à obtenir une seconde classe de personnage, à améliorer ses stats et à apprendre de nouvelles compétences, alors qu’il enchaîne les surprises. Le dragon créé par le Laboratory faisait partie d’un rituel destiné à ressusciter Reliol, la seule autre personne de l’histoire, en dehors de Yuji, à avoir été à la fois Tamer et Sage. Malheureusement, une quantité énorme de force vitale était nécessaire pour que la résurrection réussisse. Lorsqu’elle découvre que sa renaissance a coûté la vie à quelqu’un d’autre, Reliol fait équipe avec Yuji pour détruire le Laboratory une bonne fois pour toutes !
