After ERNEST GLECKMAN is mortally wounded, he discovers he must "pay down his new lease on life" by serving as a part time fixer for a death cult. Each time he manifests his dark side as EVIL ERNIE it becomes harder to maintain his tenuous grip on his inherently good humanity.
ERNEST GLECKMAN is a good kid with exceptional grades in his senior year at college...his only quirk is the rock band he sings in every Saturday night. He enjoys the rock esthetic and "dressing the role" if not acting like a nihilistic punk.
All that is changed when he assumes the role of... EVIL ERNIE who is the polar opposite of ERNEST. ERNIE is vicious and cruel and sadistic as he employs all manner of torture or murder (or oft-times both!) against his targets.
ERNEST is stable, good, focused. ERNIE is a chaotic, evil, anarchist.

Après avoir été mortellement blessé, ERNEST GLECKMAN découvre qu’il doit « rembourser son nouveau bail sur la vie » en servant de fixer à temps partiel pour un culte de la mort. Chaque fois qu’il laisse se manifester son côté sombre en tant que EVIL ERNIE, il lui devient plus difficile de garder le fragile contrôle de son humanité fondamentalement bonne.
ERNEST GLECKMAN est un bon gars, avec des résultats exceptionnels pendant sa dernière année de fac... sa seule particularité, c’est le groupe de rock dans lequel il chante tous les samedis soirs. Il aime l’esthétique rock et « se looker pour le rôle », même s’il ne se comporte pas comme un punk nihiliste.
Tout change quand il endosse le rôle de... EVIL ERNIE, l’exact opposé de ERNEST. ERNIE est vicieux, cruel et sadique, et il emploie toutes sortes de tortures ou de meurtres (et bien souvent les deux à la fois !) contre ses cibles.
ERNEST est stable, bon, concentré. ERNIE est chaotique, maléfique, anarchiste.
