Dans Quick Stops Volume 3, on a enfin la chance de lire le comic créé par Holden McNeil sur son amour pour Alyssa Jones et la perte de celle-ci, comme on le voit dans le film Chasing Amy. Kevin Smith rend hommage à son amie et partenaire de jeu Shannen Doherty avec deux histoires : l’une sur son sens de l’humour irréprochable, l’autre un requiem pour son personnage dans Mallrats, Rene.
