A boy named Kaboku sees a girl named Wanda dance, and suddenly burns with a need to join in. Ils croisent bientôt d’anciens amis, de vieux adversaires — et au moins un danseur redoutable qui semble en avoir après Kabe… S’ils veulent aller jusqu’au sommet du tournoi, Kabe et Kabo vont devoir apprendre à se comprendre sur le vif, sinon ils risquent bien de se faire éliminer dès le premier round ! Pendant ce temps, à Tokyo, Wanda fait sensation pendant les répétitions du showcase d’Assay et suscite au passage pas mal de jalousie. Mais quand les autres danseurs voient à quel point elle est dévouée à son art, ils commencent à s’ouvrir à elle, et de nouvelles amitiés pourraient bien éclore…
