Les familles existent sous bien des formes, et ces trois-là ne font pas exception ! Takemura est un solitaire qui n’a que peu d’intérêt pour les relations sociales. Harcelé au lycée parce qu’il est gay, il préfère passer son temps seul pour ne plus souffrir. Quand il croise par hasard son collègue Natsui, lumineux et sympathique, au supermarché, il est surpris d’apprendre qu’il est père célibataire… et encore plus surpris d’être invité à dîner, sans vraiment pouvoir refuser ! Kuma est un type bien, mais à cause de son air constamment renfrogné et de son apparence rude, on le prend souvent pour un bon à rien. Lorsqu’il voit le grand frère de son ami rompre avec son petit ami, Yagi, Kuma se sent intrigué par ce bel inconnu et, peu à peu, sa curiosité se transforme en béguin. Kodama est un étudiant en psychologie réservé qui est abordé par l’exubérant Harada lorsqu’il tombe malade sur le chemin du retour. Il s’avère qu’ils étudient tous les deux dans la même université, et Harada insiste pour qu’ils deviennent amis. Mais à mesure qu’ils passent plus de temps ensemble, Kodama commence à se demander ce qu’il ressent vraiment.
