Within a remarkably short time, Luana Vecchio has become one of the most exciting voices in contemporary indie comics. Her creator owned Image titles Lovesick and its follow up Love Dolls blend erotic obsession, violence, and dark psychology into something that feels both transgressive and meticulously crafted (we think of it as "sophisticated giallo in comic form"). The result is a devoted cult following and a reputation for pushing visual and thematic boundaries.

Beyond her creator-owned work, Luana has also worked as artist for DC Comics (Poison Ivy) and other Image series. Lately she has become a highly sought after cover artist, bringing her unmistakable style to series such as Barbaric, Exquisite Corpses, The Power Fantasy, Walt's own Witchblade Annual Exclusive Variant and many others. Her covers are instantly recognisable bold, sensual and stylish.
