New Discounts
We’ve updated our pre-order pricing: At every level, the discounts are going up, and we’re also introducing a brand-new tier at €500+, giving you 42% off the base price.
That means: If you're pre-ordering at the highest level, you're now paying roughly €0.70 per cover dollar (or around €2.80 for a $4 comic). That’s pretty much our pain threshold at the moment 😅. But with the dollar being weak and singles thriving, we’re passing those savings on to you.
Behind the scenes, things are still a bit spicy. Shipping costs are up and so are tariffs-infused supplies (including bags, boards, and boxes). We’re working on alternatives, but until then, this pricing update is our way of keeping the whole thing sustainable and sweet for both, you and us. 🤝
But what I’m honestly even more excited about is the new Sub Club perks!
Introducing: The Sub Club
OK, it's quite simple actually: the more you sub, the more cool shit you get ;)
Our b&b service stays, with Level 3 subbers getting the service for free. The previous "Webshop discount", which was hardly ever used and frankly missed its mission (getting customers to try out new things), is now being replaced by two things that, as far as I know, no other comic store is offering.
CGC Grading Service
We were asked about this before. After doing a few rounds of submissions with CGC we finally feel confident to make you a pretty great offer: Pick any book from our webshop OR pre-order and ask for a CGC grading. You have two choices:
1. 9.8 or nothing — We submit for pre-scan and only if it's valued by CGC at 9.8 it's being slabbed. If not: nothing happens and you're not being billed (or getting a refund in case of pre-payment).
2. Classic Submission — Of course we pick a beautiful copy to begin with, but just in case we missed a little detail, it's still being encapsulated (guaranteed 9.4 or higher).
How to order CGC Grading
All CGC inquiries go to Heiko per email. Please mention in the subject line this info: type of grade (CGC Classic or 9.8 Guarantee), Webshop or Pre-Order, and Exact title (from Webshop or Manage Comics). It will look like this:

Please keep in mind:
- For pre-orders, please only send CGC inquiry after your pre-order was accepted (not needed in case it's a subscription).
- We new customers and Sub Level 1 customers we reserve the right to ask for pre-payment.
- Very important: We do not take send-ins for submission, only our own stock! If you want to grade books that need to be sent in, please inquire and we'll send you a recommended dealer.
- Price for submission is determined by your sub-level and is the same for all types of regular sized comics (the only ones we accept!), independent of rarity/incentive etc. We expect your sub level to have been somehow consistent for the past 3 months. Getting 76 series subbed and instantly asking for a 45€ submission will not work ;)
VIP Drops
And then we also want to reward our most loyal subscribers with exclusive drops...
1. Surprise Drops
From time to time, we’ll include rare or limited items—warehouse finds, con exclusives, signed books, maybe even a variant you didn’t expect. These surprise drops aren’t promised, but they’re our way of saying thanks to the people keeping the singles spirit alive.
2. The Good Stuff
Every now and then, we’ll go one step further: maybe a sketch on a blank variant, a signed print, or something extra personal. It depends on what we have going on (events, conventions, artist visits), and frankly, how many people are at that level.
