Le petit Sheeta a quitté sa maison pour retrouver son ami et a croisé un étranger qui a ses propres priorités… mais tout ça devra attendre, car quand on ne mesure que quelques centimètres, un gland devient un festin et une fourmilière, une aventure ! Sheeta et Izuna sont tombés sur une petite fille nommée Kugel, qui vit dans un merveilleux village construit en terre durcie au creux d’un arbre ! Les habitants transforment la sève de l’arbre en un sirop absolument incroyable, le meilleur que Sheeta ait jamais goûté… mais ce même sirop a attiré des fourmis, qui ont percé les murs et forcent Kugel et les siens à quitter leur foyer. La mère de Kugel, cheffe du village, veut envoyer sa fille au loin, mais Kugel n’est pas du genre à laisser passer une occasion de se battre pour sa maison !
