You know that annoying character? The one who never stops smiling while preaching that “the company is a family”?

Yeah, that guy’s not in The Last of Us. And if he was, he probably died before the first episode. We don’t miss him.

Strange opener? Maybe.

But if there’s one story that makes me think of Walt’s Comic Shop, it’s The Last of Us. (As stated in a past newsletter: no employees at WCS are harmed. Not even when infected.)

During the second TV show season’s run, half the team gathered every Sunday for lunch and a new episode. We cried with Ellie. We feared with Joel. We laughed together. And that’s family enough.

You can imagine how attached we are to this post-apocalyptic universe.
