Selina made quite the impression in the main book with her A.I. globe reflective cowl being one of the most talked-about comic designs of the year.
The solicits make me believe this book will be a reconstruction of sorts of Darwyn Cooke’s classic Selina's Big Score. I may be wrong, but can you do any Selina book at all without at least touching Cooke’s work?
Catwoman has been one of those characters who has always had a book over the last 20 years. And somehow, I feel like they’re never talked about enough. Tom King’s run brought a lot of fans in and still... I don’t feel like we even mention her solo series. So what we have here is a big chance to grab the zeitgeist.
Of all the books the Absolute line could do, I trust that if they choose Catwoman, they have an incredible vision to share.

Jae Lee gives this book an eerie feeling that makes everything look like a fever dream. Like the screenwriter for Fast & Furious had one too many mushrooms and was incorporated by the spirit of a resentful 7-year-old.
How else do you describe a Cartoon Network concept with art by freaking Jae Lee???
