I remember roughly two weeks ago (them olden days!), when I told you we're so ready for this one, and how we really stepped up, and how we will ship your orders in under one week (secretly thinking "two days" and how beautiful it feels to be a humble store-owner and imagining the teary eyes of customers when they get their shipping notification just shortly after placing their order... ).
Well: You make plans, while Black Friday hits you with a >100% over last year and we're like: YEEEEAAAHHHOOOHHHHHHNNOOOOO.
But in all humblebragness: Thank you. It's been a blast.
And we've added Saturday shifts. And we're currently at the one-week-after-placing-order with fulfilment, and we might fall behind that depending on this weekend goes, but only for a short while. We're giving our best!
Updated Collections
I know it's not ideal, but our system kept certain titles "hidden" from us, at least their real quantity. Which means, we've had to find creative ways (like the good old "using our own eyes") to hunt more of those overstocks down in the warehouse(s).
And then people kept asking us to also add certain books to the sales. Some of those inquiries actually found their way into the sales collections.
Especially those two collections have been updated until 5 minutes ago:

Graphic Novel 50% Collection: Now again over 500 Books Included
So if you want to give it one final go...
Again, apologies for wasting your time. On the other hand, you've probably already ordered enough, so feel free to just ignore this "there is more" siren call ;)
But just in case you give in (again!), please start your checkout in time. Last year we had many people got stuck with their checkout shortly before midnight (it seems many other stores on shopify had the same breakoff point).
Customer Service
Just a heads-up that everyone from customer service is currently also helping in fulfilment and we ask you to consider this when sending us your inquiries.
Here's a guidelines which might be of help:
When will my order arrive?
If it's a BF order, please allow 10-12 before sending an inquiry.
If your order happens to include a pre-order, this is probably the hold-up.
Why did you refund book x?
Some inventory might have been incorrect: In case you get a refund for a certain book, it means we could not find it. Apologies in advance.
I got my order and there's a problem with it.
Be it that you got a wrong book or something is damaged, rest asured, that we will take care of it, but due to the large number of requests please allow a few days until we respond.
When will book x be on sale?
Currently there is a problem with the shipping route of one of our main distributors (Lunar), so books from DC, Image, Fantagraphics, Oni, Rbellion... might be delayed. We're working on it.
Walt's Batman Exclusive
Not Black Friday related, but have to mention this one because I am so proud of it. It's the world's first Omnibus Retailer Exclusive cover, and it has turned out reaaaaalllllly great.
