For the longest time, I was quite scared that we would never get another Robin: Tim Drake Compendium. While Nightwing fans got to feast (and me among them, tbh), I watched as the best Robin was left with almost no books collected. It’s time to change that!
This book collects the back end of Tim Drake’s Robin run, and his switch to Red Robin. The story takes place in the aftermath of Final Crisis and Batman R.I.P., when Tim just doesn’t stop searching for Bruce, proving once and for all why Tim Drake is the best Robin there ever was!

This book brings us to the end of Bendis’ run on New Avengers. The Heroic Age is upon us, and it’s time for (yet) another shakeup! Luke Cage’s team has been through a lot in the past two omnis, and in this one, it’s time they go official!
I’m very excited for this book. Whatever you thought about his writing, Bendis redefined the team for the 21st century and left a deep mark on these characters. Now all we need is for Marvel to collect Dark Avengers and Mighty Avengers in omnis too... Please, Marvel. Please.

Forewarning: while it might have a similar name, this doesn’t have too much to do with DC’s Absolute Universe. However, it’s still absolutely a fun read with some gorgeous art!
What happens when Amanda Waller finally succeeds in making a world with no superpowers? Even worse, what will she do when she gains, you guessed it, absolute power? This book collects the whole story: the dramatic fall and triumphant rise of the heroes, setting up the stage for the All In Special and the mega hit that is the Absolute Universe.

Ongoing Compendium Vol. 2
If you haven’t been reading TMNT, now is your chance. The first Ongoing Compendium just came out in May, collecting the first 50 issues, and this volume brings the other 50, which are the conclusion of Tom Waltz’s amazing run on the title.
The only downside is that the book does not come with minis that were out at the time, many of which do inform the ongoing story.
Still, this is the cheapest way (that I know of) to enjoy this masterful run on the Heroes in a Half Shell! Turtle power!
