Shipping

We ship from Europe to most countries worldwide. However, there are a few destinations we currently do not serve.

You can check shipping availability directly on each product page using the shipping calculator. If your country does not appear there, we unfortunately do not ship to your location at this time.

Printed books and comics are generally exempt from import duties when entering the United States and United Kingdom. We ship hundreds of order to both countries each month without any problems.

In rare cases, a carrier may apply a small processing or handling fee. If this ever happens, please contact us and we will review the case with you.

  • Germany: Free shipping on orders over €75 (DHL). €5 shipping for orders below €75.
  • EU, UK & Switzerland: €12 flat rate. Some selected countries offer a reduced 8–9€ rate for parcels under 2kg.
  • Free shipping thresholds: Germany €75+, EU & UK €150+ (excludes Cyprus and Malta).

You can calculate exact shipping costs directly in your cart before checkout.

We offer flat-rate shipping to the UK, Switzerland and Norway.

For destinations such as the USA, Canada, Israel, Japan, Australia, China, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and others, we offer multiple carrier options and shipping is calculated based on weight.

Please note that local import regulations may vary depending on your country.

We offer free shipping for most of the EU and UK based on your order total:

  • Germany: Free shipping on orders €75+
  • EU & UK: Free shipping on orders €150+

Exclusions: Free shipping is not available for Malta, Cyprus, and certain remote islands (e.g., Balearic Islands, Channel Islands).

Orders must qualify at checkout: Adding items later won’t retroactively apply free shipping.

Carrier Selection: We choose the carrier for free shipping (Germany: DHL; EU/UK: primarily UPS, with some FedEx/DHL exceptions).

Single-Issue Subscriptions: Monthly shipments qualify if the total is €75+ (Germany) / €150+ (EU & UK) after discounts.

It depends on where you are. We pack and ship orders within 1–3 business days after purchase. After that, delivery time depends on the carrier and shipping service you choose:

Germany & neighbouring countries: 1–2 business days

EU: 3–5 business days (1-2 with Express)

UK, Switzerland, Norway: 4-8 business days (2-4 with Express)

USA: 5-8 business days (2-4 with Express)

International: Varies by location

Delivery estimates will be provided via email once your order ships from us.

We work with all major carriers, including DHL, DPD, UPS, and FedEx. You’ll be able to select your preferred delivery method at checkout.

For free shipping, the carrier is selected by us based on the destination and best available option.

Yes! Yes! Yes! We love comics. And we take great care in packing them securely so they arrive at your doorstep unharmed. All shipments are insured and trackable. You’ll get updates all the way via email once we ship your order.

Condition & Returns

We aim for Near Mint condition, but small imperfections may occur. Anything with noticeable damage is clearly labeled (e.g., "Nick & Dents").

We always aim for make sure our customers love our products, but if you do need to return an order, we’re happy to help. Just email us directly and we’ll take you through the process. We offer a 14-day return policy if the item is in the same condition (e.g., sealed books must be returned sealed). Please be aware that buyer covers return shipping.

Damages can happen, even though we do everything we can to prevent them. If your order arrives damaged, please contact us immediately, and we’ll do our best to make things right.

  • Transit damage: Report any external damage within 5 days of receipt so we can file a claim with the shipping company.
  • Production-related defects: Internal damage (e.g., misprints, binding issues) can be reported within one month of receiving the book.

Please note that we offer our books in Near Mint (NM) condition—meaning minor imperfections may occur. Absolute perfection cannot be guaranteed.

Ordering in General

Orders below €15 result in a loss for us due to fixed processing and shipping costs.

Not at the moment. Orders of more than two copies may be canceled and refunded. We plan to offer B2B services in the future.

We are Europe’s leading store for English-language comics, with over well over 2000 reviews and a 4.9 rating on Trustpilot to back it up. We love comics and our customers, and we make sure that shows in everything we do. So: take this as a resounding YES! :)

It is not permitted to create multiple user accounts under the same name. Additionally, using special, one-time discount codes multiple times or across different accounts is strictly prohibited. Failure to follow these rules may result in a ban from our website.

Pre-Orders

We offer several pre-order options for collected editions, graphic novels, and single issues.

Collected Editions & Graphic Novels
Pre-orders for omnibus hardcovers, trade paperbacks, and premium editions are available months in advance, often at a discounted rate. Prices typically range between €0.70–€0.80 per USD cover price, though indie publishers may be closer to €0.90–€1.00 per USD.

Big Book & Manga Deals of the Month
Designed for European Omni and Manga fans, these special deals offer even better pricing—typically €0.64–€0.70 per USD. These provide exceptional value on select titles. You can find them here.

Single-Issue Subscriptions & Pre-Orders
We offer single-issue pre-orders via Manage Comics, integrated on our website. Orders can be placed or canceled up to one month before release, until the Final Order Cutoff (FOC)—the last date we can adjust our order with US distributors. Let's be honest: Preordering singles is not completely intuitive, to put it mildly ;)Please make yourself familiar to all the details, which can be can be found here.

We offer a wide selection of pre-orders for collected editions, manga, and single issues as soon as they are officially solicited. To keep our prices competitive and processing fast, we appreciate your cooperation:

  • One Shipping Action Per Order: Your order will ship only when all items are in stock. If you want faster delivery, place separate orders for items releasing around the same time.
  • The Two-Month Rule: You can only combine products in a single order if their release dates are within two months of each other. This applies to both pre-orders and in-stock items.
  • Adding to an Existing Order: If you’d like to add items to an order placed in the last 180 days, email us with the product link and your order number—we’ll be happy to assist.
  • No Freebies for Pre-Orders: To keep things efficient, pre-orders are not eligible for free items.

All pre-orders must be paid at checkout to secure the discounted price. We do not offer installment payments or payment on release.

You can cancel your pre-order at any time—just email support, and we’ll issue a full refund, no questions asked.

  • One order = one shipping action. Books will ship together once all items are in stock. If your order includes books releasing more than two months apart, please place separate orders.
  • Release dates may change. Publishers sometimes delay releases, which is out of our control. The estimated release date is listed and updated in each product description. We have also an overview of all upcoming Big Books here.
  • We receive weekly shipments from the US. In most cases, books arrive on or before release, but logistics delays can occur.
  • Pre-orders are prioritized. If a title gets allocated by the publisher, our pre-order customers receive copies first.

👉 If you don’t hear from us, everything is on track. You’ll get your book—it just might take a little longer.
