Maybe you watched the awesome Invincible show on Amazon Prime and now you want to read the comics, but you don't know how to read the Invincible comics in order? For fans, there are numerous ways to collect and enjoy the comic book series. Although the original single issues of Invincible are long out of print, since the series concluded in its comic book form, Image Comics and creator Robert Kirkman (yes, the same Kirkman behind the massive phenomenon The Walking Dead!) have released numerous editions of the material. Whether you prefer the tactile feel and low price of trade paperbacks, or love the durability and extra features of hardcover editions, there's something for every type of collector.

Invincible Trade Paperbacks (TP)

Here, you can choose between the pocket-sized New Edition TPs, which are affordable and easy to read on the go.

But if you're also looking to give your arm muscles a workout, the TP Compendiums are recommended. Three thick (and heavy!) volumes contain the entire series and offer the best bang for your Euros: This is the most affordable way to read and collect the series.

Invincible Hardcovers (HC)

These three compendiums are also available as hardcovers, as DM Variant exclusives. That means you can only get them through specialized comic shops like ours. We have them also offered as a deal-bundle. Due to their slick design and sturdy nature, they are by far the most popular format with our customers. And although the first print run is slowly running out, reprints are scheduled for July 2024!

For those who prefer their books oversized (and in hardcover), there are two options: First, there's the 12-volume Ultimate HC Collection. Each volume includes approximately two story arcs (about 6 comic books), and they look fantastic on the shelf!

However, the name is a bit misleading, because the truly ultimate edition is probably the Complete Library Edition. Each of these hefty tomes collects two Ultimate Editions into one massive, slipcased volume! Plus, the page size is even larger than that of the Ultimates. It's not exactly cheap, but it doesn't get any higher quality than this!

But if you want to dig deeper, let our friend Omar from Near Mint Condition be the guide to which format suits you best!
