March Spotlight: Hardcover Editions You Can’t Miss!
The month of love, where hearts are full, and the air is filled with all things sweet and romantic. And when it comes to romance manga, February is where the real magic happens. It's the month when we experience those unforgettable moments: the first shy confessions, the nervous heartbeats, and the sweet, heart-fluttering exchanges between characters that make us swoon. These are the moments where manga characters finally speak up, admit their feelings, and show us just how love begins to bloom in the most touching and often surprising ways.
This month, I’ve brought you three Romance manga that perfectly capture these moments: from the first confessions to the sparks flying between characters. So, grab some homemade chocolate (or your favourite treat), and let’s dive into the stories that make our hearts race and our smiles wide.
La Crème de la Crème
Vagabond Definitive Edition
Let’s kick things off with the Vagabond Definitive Edition. If you haven’t added this beauty to your collection yet, now’s the time (just sayin’). Not only is it visually stunning, but the crisp, detailed artwork and the legendary story itself will make you fall in love with the series all over again. Plus, it’ll make your shelf look 10 times cooler.
Not going to lie, when I first saw the obi (the band around the cover), I panicked — I wasn’t sure if I was ready for that level of design commitment! But honestly, once I saw the cover without it, I realized the minimalistic perfection speaks for itself.

Berserk Deluxe Edition
If you’re a Berserk fan, the Berserk Deluxe Edition continues to be a must-have. The premium finish really enhances Kentaro Miura’s dark fantasy world, bringing every page to life. It’s truly a collector’s dream.
Vinland Saga Deluxe Edition
And, of course, let’s not forget the Vinland Saga Deluxe Edition. These high-quality prints don’t just tell Thorfinn’s story, they practically transport you straight into the Viking age. It’s more than just a manga; it’s an art book in its own right. Ready to sit proudly on your shelf for years to come.
And yes, I can’t help myself — Vinland Saga remains one of my absolute favourite manga. It's impossible not to gush about this edition! So if you're in the mood for it, check out the bundle of volumes 1 to 6.

Not Deluxe, But Still Beautiful: Fantagraphics Hardcover Editions
When it comes to hardcover editions, Fantagraphics continues to deliver some of the most beautifully crafted books in the industry. While these may not always carry the "deluxe" label, the quality and artistic appeal are undeniable. These editions stand out for their exceptional craftsmanship, thoughtful design, and timeless stories that deserve a place on any bookshelf.
Take Moto Hagio’s Poe Clan Box Set, for example. This release is an absolute masterpiece. Hagio’s iconic artwork and mesmerizing storytelling shine even brighter in this gorgeous hardcover collection. There are some exciting new arrivals in the shop this month, perfect for fans of all genres! Fantasy lovers will want to check out Peter Grill and the Philosopher’s Time, Grimgar of Fantasy and Ash, and Reincarnated as a Dragon Hatchling.
For those following the latest from Viz, don’t miss Insomniacs After School Vol. 8 and Dandadan Vol. 10 — both series continue to captivate with their unique stories and stunning artwork. And for shojo fans, the highly anticipated Colette Decides to Die is finally here.
We also have some hot Boy's Love titles from Tokyopop, including My Beautiful Man and Sanctify. Whether they're hyped or not, these titles are definitely causing a buzz in Germany — and for good reason! Speaking of buzz, a friend on Instagram mentioned that Planeta is a must-read.
