Issue #1 of the Harley Quinn: Black, White and Redder anthology series contains:
1. A fun superhero story with some fabulous artwork.
It's Chip Zdarsky enjoying his time off the big epics and just having fun with Kevin Maguire, creating a hilarious Harley snack, that's not just looking good on the plate but also tastes yummy.
2. A fun heartfelt story with some fabulous artwork.
Leah Williams writing an emotionally stirring story about a young Harley dealing with the ferocious gymnastics business.
An impressive short story that takes the heaviness out of the subject matter through humor, a glorious Harley ending, and vivid, beautiful artwork by Natacha Bustos. For me, the best one of the issue.
3. A fun heist story with some fabulous artwork.
Paul Scheer and Nick Giovanetti telling a classic Harley tale with a cleverly constructed heist, a charmingly crazy Harley, a lot of gags, and a jolly ending.
All very entertainingly illustrated by Tom Reilly, with an interesting mix of cartoon and noir.
Conclusion:
As expected, you can't do anything wrong with a Harley in black, white and red(der). I was perfectly entertained.

In contrast to the other big player on the market, you get high quality printing on high quality paper from DC for your money.
