Marvel Epic Collections

Marvel Epic Collections are large, full-color trade paperback collections of previously published Marvel comics, typically containing 400–500 pages. The Epic Collection line is a numbered collection of sequential issues of one title, sometimes including crossovers from related titles, starting from the beginning of a character. This collection is not released sequentially, as the priority is to fill in periods not covered by previous collections.

Other formats which collect entire runs of one title or related titles by one creator are the are the Ultimate Collection and Complete Collection lines. Because of their similar thickness to Epics they are sometimes nicknamed "Epthiccs" by fans. 

Not unlike the Marvel Masterworks and Omnibus lines, a scene has formed around the Epic collection line with the Epic Collections Podcast by Kurtis Finlay and the 1500 members strong Facebook discussion group as its center.
