You know it's a crazy week, when the fact that Marvel & DC are teaming up again in (too stressed to research) MANY years is not even the top story of this week's Final Order Cutoff (FOC)...
My problem: I have only 30 minutes to cover all the awesomeness. Aka no time for chit-chat!
Deadpool / Batman #1
It's not only our titular heroes teaming up (courtesy of Zeb Wells and Greg Capullo), but also Daredevil and Green Arrow by Kevin Smith and Adam Kubert, Captain America and Wonder Woman by Chip Zdarsky and Terry Dodson, and Jeff the Land Shark and Krypto by Kelly Thompson and Gurihiru! Pretty much impossible to resist and Marvel is celebrating (or exploiting? you decide!) with 17 open order variants and 4 more incentives. Batman #1
Speaking about BIG launches (and skipping some lunches in order to get them all):
Batman is getting a restart. I already reviewed and advance copy a few weeks ago, you can read it here. I only had time to read the first 7 pages of #2 and they're just as cinematic and awesome. My gut feeling: This is going to be one of the good runs.

There are, of course, less obvious highlights in this week's FOC:
Immortal Legend Batman #1 by Kyle Higgins, Mat Groom and
Erica Durso is an Elseworlds sci-fic western with dynamic art and written by the creator of the Massive-Verse.
Then we have the launch of a brand-new publisher Ignition Press: Murder Podcast #1 is a chilling new horror series from The Beauty co-creator Jeremy Haun. When long-dead episodes of a true crime podcast mysteriously return, listeners are driven to kill...
I also need to mention this one, since I am an old-school Valiant head and will always give any relaunch a shot... you know, just in case it's brilliant. And since it's written by one last relaunches' best writers (Fred van Lente), chances are... existent! Valiant Beyond: All-New Harbinger #1 kicks off a fresh era with a new team of psiots facing their first real test. We are promised "Superhero drama with heart". I'm in.
And there is so MUCH MORE... but time has run out :(
