Hey there,
Walt here. We’re still going from shelf to shelf and keep slapping 50% tags on a lot of graphic novels. I know what you’re thinking: when will this torture be over???
Well, Friday at 6:30 p.m. would be a good guess.
That means if you want to be quick, keep checking the GN collection during the day for updates (and no, there is no way to see what has been added to it, sorry), but after 6:30 you can be sure that everything that can get a discount has gotten it. If it sounds like we’re winging it, it’s because that’s exactly what we’re doing. Thank you.
But we won’t leave you hanging in there alone.
We actually sat down and wrote some recommendations from some of the guys on the team to help you navigate the chaos – so if you don’t know where to start, start there.

I bought SW Crimson Reign because it collects the entire Crimson Reign saga (as the name would imply....), which we already saw in War of the Bounty Hunters. Crimson Reign shows a whole different point of view away from the reemergence of the Empire and a side of Star Wars we haven't seen on the big screen or even the various TV shows. This side of SW is a must-read for everyone who wants a different take on a galaxy far, far away that's darker and grittier than our usual Jedi vs. Sith.
I plan to get the The Witcher smaller hardcover stories (The Edge of the World, A Grain of Truth, The Lesser Evil...). I already own all Library Editions of The Witcher and I just DEVOURED them. These stories are perfect for everyone who loved the books, but also felt like the last two books lacked the typical Witcher magic. These shorter stories are "good old Gerald slaying monsters" in its purest form and the artwork is absolutely wonderful.
I recommend Batman - Year One Artist Edition.
I've bought the Artist Edition over the Absolute Edition a while ago, and it did not disappoint. The book is massive, and you're sucked into the world of young Batman as they were originally penciled. This makes the art feel much more raw, authentic, and gives better focus on the story over the ink. It's a different experience from the usual comic reading, and one can't help but marvel at the artistic skills of David Mazzucchelli and Frank Miller.

SUPERIOR SPIDER-MAN OMNI:
A fan-favorite, and honestly a strong contender for the best Spider-Man run of the past 20 years. It’s a radical reinvention of the character, with Doc Ock trying to fill Peter Parker’s heroic shoes. You can tell that Dan Slott was having an absolute blast with this concept, and that energy comes through on every page.
FOURTH WORLD BY JACK KIRBY OMNI:
The Fourth World is King Kirby at his finest: building vast, epic worlds filled with characters like Mister Miracle, Orion, and Big Barda who are as iconic and mythic as they are deeply human. The saga stands out as Kirby’s most ambitious project and a true highlight of his legendary career. It is a cosmic epic that not only showcases all of his creative passions but is also surprisingly personal.

Absolute Superman for All Seasons
If you loved James Gunn’s film, this classic is a must. It’s full of quiet loneliness and the kindest Superman you’ll meet.
Spider-Gwen: Ghost-Spider
On my wishlist: I want to learn more about the character I fell for through the animated film—one of Marvel’s best alternate-universe takes.
Scott Pilgrim Box Set B/W
The story I wish I’d write about time with my friends—ultra-pop, packed with music and video games.

Daredevil Epic Collection Vol. 13: A Touch Of Typhoid
For me this is peak Daredevil. You can find me rambling about this specific collection on youtube (if you dare), and since the Nocenti Omnibus is currently OOP this is a super-low-price entry into one of hornhead’s best runs. Also JR JR’s art is just superb!
Go on, dare to watch it – it’s free. Here’s the link to the video. You’re welcome. XO Gloriana ;)
The one recommendation from me that Gloriana didn’t hate! Must be something to it. Actually, peak Jason Aaron. His first massive storytelling oeuvre, gritty “makes you feel things” art, maybe the last major Vertigo classic to wrap up.
Batman: White Knight Deluxe Edition HC
We’re still going shelf by shelf and check high qty stock, which was missed during online selection, and this is how this Batman classic (and a few others) just landed in the 50% sale! if you still need to be sold on what is probably the most hyped Batbook of the last decade (before Absolute Batman arrived), well, how about: Sean Gordon Murphy doing a modernised version of Miller’s Dark Knight with some social commentary and Batman riding the f+++ing coolest Batcycle imaginable!
