Despite paper shortages and release delays there are more than enough Omnibuses that are soon approaching over the horizon, and with Christmas soon approaching we thought it would be cool for staff member, Mike, to select a few books that have our eyes salivating and our wallets weeping:
Aliens: The Original Years Omnibus Vol. 3 HC
I was far too young to read the original Dark Horse Aliens series last century (thanks Mum…) but it definitely left a lasting impression, so I am super excited that Marvel is collecting ten years worth of Xenomorph fun across three giant volumes. I mean just look at that amazing DM variant cover by Bernie Wrightson!? And btw, we have both covers of the out-of-print Vol 1 still in stock.
Catwoman of East End Omnibus by Ed Brubaker and Darwyn Cooke HC
Like the majority of you I am an avid Ed Brubaker fan and first recall reading his fantastic Catwoman run almost twenty years ago! So I am sure I’m not to the only one who is happy that DC are finally collecting the entire story in one meaty book early next year. Plus featuring artwork from the late, great Darwyn Cooke which is a major selling point all on its own.
Thor by Jason Aaron Omnibus HC
Finally! I feel like we have been waiting years for this and seeing as this series began almost ten years ago, we omni collectors are nothing if not a patience bunch… Collected in this volume is the beginning of Jason Aaron’s epic run and also features absolutely lush artwork from Esad Ribić. I for one can’t wait to see where the journey takes us.
This one popped up just as I was writing this blog post so I snuck it in last minute for all you crime fans! If you haven’t read Brian Azzarello and Eduardo Risso's sprawling epic then you’re in for a 100 chapter neo-noir dive into murder, intrigue and more murder! I cannot wait to re-read this as I personally think it is one of the best crime books that also just happens to have pictures in it. And if you want to start with Vol 1 (which makes a lot of sense!), we have it in stock.

Hey Walt, Im excited as well for the Jason Aaron book can’t wait to deep dive into it.
In regards to Alien, do you per chance have a way to track down Volume 2. as well. Would love. to purchase all 3 books in the near future being an avid Alien/s fan myself. Let me know
