Five Simple Rules for a Smooth Pre-Ordering Experience

To help us keep our competitive prices and fast processing times, we appreciate your cooperation. Here are five easy guidelines to follow:

  1. Single Shipping Action: Each order will ship only when all items are in stock. If you'd like faster delivery, please consider placing separate orders for items scheduled to release around the same time.

  2. Group Products by Release Date (The Two-Month Rule): You can only combine products in a single order if their release dates are within two months of each other. This policy applies to both pre-orders and in-stock items within that timeframe.

  3. Add to Existing Orders: If you’d like to add new items to an order you placed in the last 180 days, just email us with the product link and your original order number, and we’ll be happy to assist you.

  4. Artist Editions and Super-Sized Books: Due to their unique dimensions, these items must be ordered separately, with a limit of three per order.

  5. No Freebies for Pre-Orders: To maintain our organizational efficiency, please note that pre-orders are not eligible for freebies.

Every month, we offer new books for pre-order as soon as they are officially solicited by the publishers and their distributors.

In each pre-order description, you will find both the tentative release date and the FOC (Final Order Cutoff) pre-order date. The FOC is the last day we can accept orders for an item at the discounted pre-order price. While some items may still be available for pre-order after the FOC, please note that their prices may be near, or identical to, the sale price at the time of release.

Payment & Money-back Guarantee

To benefit from the discounted Big Books pre-order prices, all orders must be placed through the website and paid for at the time of ordering. Currently, we do not offer alternative payment options such as payment in instalments or payment on release. However, you can cancel your pre-order at any time. Just send us an email, and we’ll cancel your order and refund you—no questions asked.

Shipping

You can order as many books as you want with one pre-order and will only pay a flat shipping fee. However, this covers only one shipping action. We will collect everything and send your order when it is complete.

If the release dates are spread over multiple months, we kindly ask you to create multiple orders and group the books by publication date. Based on our experience, one shipping action per month is ideal, but we allow orders to be spread over a maximum of two months. For example, books released on May 5th can be paired with books released on July 3rd.

We ship internationally, so if you don’t find your country listed at checkout, please contact us and we will provide you with a shipping quote.

When Do I Get My Book(s)? 

The release date is indicated in the description of each item. Note that publishers can still change the publication date at short notice.

At the moment we get the Big Books in weekly deliveries from the United States. Theoretically we should have all books before or on release date, though with the general problems in transportation we cannot guarantee. 

When you see the new books listed on our website, it means your pre-orders are already in fulfilment; or have been stored away in case the order is still incomplete. Pre-orders are always prioritised in fulfilment, so in case of allocations, pre-order customers are on the safe side!

Please always keep this in mind: as long as you don't hear from us, everything is on track. You will get your book! It may just take a little longer.
