Pre-Ordering Single Issues and Subscribe to Series with Manage Comics
We now use Manage Comics for single-issue subscriptions and pre-orders! Manage Comics lets you subscribe to your favorite series, track upcoming releases, and manage your orders online—all directly integrated into our store. No need to leave our website!

Key Things to Know Before Pre-Ordering
Pre-Order Deadline aka Final Order Cutoff (FOC): Orders must be placed before 4 PM on the Saturday before FOC to guarantee availability.
One Monthly Shipment: We collect all your books over the month and ship once at the end. If you have fewer than three issues, we will wait an extra month before invoicing.
Automatic Pulls: When you subscribe to a series, each new issue is automatically pulled for you—no need to reorder.
Cancellations After FOC: If you unsubscribe from a title after FOC, you will still receive and be charged for the last issue ordered.
No Pre-Orders for Trades or Manga: Manage Comics is only for single issues. Collected editions, trades, and manga must be pre-ordered separately through our regular store.
Getting Started
1️⃣ Create an account on our store.
2️⃣ Log in and access Manage Comics via our website.
3️⃣ Search & subscribe to ongoing series for automatic pulls.
4️⃣ Pre-order individual issues and variants using the special pre-order feature.
5️⃣ Check your account to track upcoming releases and open invoices.
New customers must add their shipping address to their account before placing pre-orders! Orders without an address may not be processed.
Loyalty Discounts – How You Save
We keep discounts simple and rewarding:
Monthly Pre-Order Discount:
Your discount is based on your total pre-order value at the end of each month.
Example: If your total pre-orders in June add up to €65, you get 25% off all single-issue pulls in July. If your total pre-orders hit €100+, your discount increases!
[Exception for customers from Denmark: Due to a very high VAT of 25% on books, Danish customers can only obtain max 20% Discount on the new conversion rate and cannot qualify for the subscription rewards.]
Subscription Rewards:
- Lower bag & board prices for subscribers
- Extra discounts on all in-stock single issues in our shop
Note: Only ongoing series subscriptions count towards these rewards. Subscribing to one-off issues or expired series does not qualify.
Bag & Board Service
We use current-size bags & boards. If you want your monthly pre-orders bagged & boarded, contact Heiko.
For webshop orders, simply add the bag & board service to your cart.
Incentives & Ratio Variants
Want a 1:10, 1:25, 1:50 or higher variant?
- Request an incentive variant before FOC and we’ll let you know if we can order it.
- Incentives €30 and up require prepayment. We’ll create a custom item in our shop for you.
- Some higher-ratio variants are listed directly on our website—keep an eye out!
Note: Incentive variants, net-priced items, and foils are excluded from all discounts.
The Nitty-Gritty: Important Notes on Manage Comics

Single Issues Only – Manage Comics is only for single-issue pre-orders and subscriptions. Trades, HCs, and manga must be pre-ordered separately through our store.

FOC Deadline Matters – Orders must be placed by 4 PM on Saturday before FOC to be processed. Later orders (Saturday evening/Sunday) are not guaranteed and will usually be declined.

Ratio Variants & Incentives – If you’re requesting an incentive variant, submit early and check your email for our pricing approval. Based on our pre-orders we will decline or make an offer in the week before FOC.

Minimum Order for Monthly Invoicing – If you have fewer than three issues in your pullbox by the end of the month, we will wait another month before invoicing. After two months, we will invoice regardless.

Discount Cutoff Date – The last New Comic Book Wednesday of each month is the final day for issues to count toward your discount, even if they are checked in a few days later.

Not All Announced Titles Arrive on Time – Some titles scheduled for release might not arrive on the exact date due to shipping and publisher delays. If a book misses the cutoff, it will count toward your discount the following month.

B-Covers, Foils & Net-Priced Items – Some variants, particularly Marvel foils and Dynamite/Titan net-priced issues, are priced higher (often double the regular cover price). Manage Comics doesn’t allow price adjustments in subscriptions, so we will charge accordingly—but we’ll notify you first.

What You See on Your Dashboard Isn’t Always What You Get – Manage Comics was designed for US retailers who stock lots extra copies. We order some, so if an issue is past FOC and marked "No longer available for pre-order," subscribing might get you that issue—or not. We can only guarantee your pull from the next available FOC.

US Release Dates ≠ EU Arrival Dates – The shipping date shown on Manage Comics reflects US release dates. Since we’re based in Germany, delays can happen. Some books arrive close to release, others later—it’s out of our hands, but we’re just as impatient as you!

Avoid Duplicate Pulls – If you pre-ordered an A-cover and subscribed to the series, we’ll only pull one copy unless you adjust your subscription quantity.
